Makeup haul review

1. Nivea Visage natural beauty radiance boosting moisturiser £6.63. I really recommend this product if you have a heavy night and your skin is looking dull, put the moisturiser on before your foundation and it gives you a lovely glow.

2. YSL Touche Eclat Radiant touch £22. Hmmm there is some many raves about this product and everyone tells me its their essential beauty product. I was a little disappointed, Don't get me wrong its a nice highlighter on the cheek bones etc, but I need a product that covers my dark bags around my eyes and for £22 I expected it to cover them and hide them really well and it doesn't really do well with that. It does last a long time though. I'm undecided. I probably would go for something cheaper in future.

3. Clinique even better foundation £18. This product I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have been using it for a few years now and couldn't imagine my life without it. It's so light! it has sun protection. It covers the face easily, no patchiness. It just looks lovely and natural and it last so bloody long! Buy this product!

4. No 17. Instant glow bronzing pearls £4.99- To be honest i'm not a huge fan of bronzing pearls I think they're really messy and have a clumpy finish, but I was pleasantly surprised with No 17s product, it's nice and cheap and has a nice glowy finish, it was just a bit too dark for me, would be a perfect product for when you're on holiday and you still want to define your cheeks!

5. Benefit Bad Gal Mascara £16.50 I have also heard great things about this product. This is definately more of a lengthening mascara rather than a thickening mascara. It's made my lashes look so long and a lot goes a long way! if you have shorter more stumpy lashes than this is a great product for you. Quite pricey, but as I say a LITTLE! GOES A LONG WAY!

6. Benefit bronzing and highlighting face powder duo £23.50 the only reason I bought this as well as the No 17 bronzing pearls is because of the pesky makeup woman not letting me get away. I was so glad she made me sit down and try it out though, this is the perfect winter bronzer because of the highlighting pink in the powder its really light and adds definition to your cheeks perfectly. I would buy this again and again.

Amazing Make-up haul. Apart from the Touche Eclat you expensive little let down you!

Want, want, want!

Im in love with Denim shorts at the minute. I have a vintage fair that I found in my mums wardrobe. Stolen!
It's good to pair them with some thick black tights and a blazer for a cool night out look!

Amsterdam

I went to Amsterdam earlier this month. It was so much more beautiful than I expected it to be. The architecture is incredible! It's as seedy as hell in some parts, but I loved it. The whole weekend was a happy, fast paced blur. I LOVE AMSTERDAM

Nicki Minaj Review- Pink Friday

Ah Nicki Minaj, she never could have lived up to the massive amount of hype that was pushed upon Pink Friday. Alas, after her amazingly popular and fabulous mix tape ‘beam me up scotty’ and the greatness of tracks such as, “itty bitty piggy’ and ‘I get crazy.’ High hopes were put on Nicki Minaj and sadly she hasn’t delivered greatly.

The album is supposed to showcase Minaj’s brilliantly fresh rapping abilities and unique delivery of well thought out lyrics, yet the album consists of a lot of singing and the songs on the album which are heavily rap based are centered around the same subject matter. The main theme is her constantly proving to people that she is the baddest chick in the game. It gets old quickly and many of the songs seem to mesh into one.

Never the less there are some brilliant tracks on this album. The second track Roman’s Revenge is Nicki Minaj at her best as she growls, “Rah Rah like a dungeon dragon,’ and the back and forth battling with Eminem is pure greatness, which ends with Nicki screaming in her mock cockney accent. She also doesn’t hold back on tracks ‘Did it on em,” as she explains how she defecates on her components, but she doesn’t say it that nicely. ‘Fly’ is also another great song as Nicki Minaj’s and Rihanna’s voices intertwine perfectly and any song Rihanna features on there is guaranteed commercial success. This will definitely be a chart topper.

You can definitely see where her record label have influenced this album for chart topping tunes rather then showcasing Minaj’s greatest talents. This is evident with tracks like the especially horrific “Check it out,’ sampled with the one hit wonder ‘Video killed the radio star,” Will-I-ams annoying tendency to auto tune every syllable has gone to another level as both stars sound like dieing Furbie’s. “Last Chance,” featuring Natasha Bedingfield. No idea how this collaboration came about and it just doesn’t work.

Nicki Minaj will possibly look back on Pink Friday and see that there is great room for improvement. Thankfully the good tracks on this album show that Nicki Minaj is fresh in a genre that has long needed a wake up and she could and probably will be unstoppable.

Front row at lFW

It's only day 4 of LFW and I already have a stand out favourite front rower. Marina Diamandis from Marina and the diamonds has been everywhere! She has been on the front row for House Of Holland, Mulberry and Richard Nicoll. Marina is a brilliant singer and I really recommend having a listen to her album Family Jewels. It's just brilliant.

Here is a link to a Marina and the diamonds song called obsession. Take a listen. It's lovely.

Dip dye hair.

I decided to dip dye the bottom of my hair! I was getting really bored of just black hair at boring shoulder length.
Here is a guide to dip dying hair.

1. If you hair is dark like mine and you only want to go a few shades lighter. I would suggest purchasing Loreal Super Blonde Hair lightening kit.

2. Part your hair in the middle and bring your hair around. Equal amounts on both sides.

3. Determine how high you want to put the bleach on.

4. For a slightly lighter colour, leave the bleach on between 45-60 minutes.

What do you think of the dip dye look?
